Australia is unique – our wildlife and natural wonders are found nowhere else in the world. So, obviously we want to protect it. However, with all the negative news stories about climate change and pollution, it can seem too hard for one person to make a difference. The truth is we can all make a difference, starting with managing waste effectively. While these negative media reports are alarming, they are creating awareness of a complex issue. As waste affects everyone, waste management is a hot-button issue within the community. We are becoming far more aware of how our personal choices regarding waste impact the community, and country at large.
